Born and raised in the River Valley, Meagan Burns received her Bachelor of Arts from Arkansas Tech University, graduating Magna Cum Laude as a member of the University Honors College.  Meagan went on to graduate with Honors from the UALR William H. Bowen School of Law where she was also an editor for the UALR Law Review.  During law school, she was offered clerkships at a number of Arkansas’s most well-regarded firms, as well as government agencies such as the Securities Commission and the Secretary of State.

A talented and knowledgeable litigator, Meagan joins our firm after nearly a decade of extensive courtroom experience.  She began her career as a public defender and later served as a deputy prosecuting attorney. During her tenure as a prosecutor in Sebastian County, Meagan did not lose a single trial or hearing and successfully prosecuted hundreds of cases.  Meagan has appealed dozens of cases to the Arkansas Court of Appeals and Arkansas Supreme Court in her own name and on behalf of other attorneys who sought her out for her writing and research skills.

In her practice Meagan handles a variety of issues for our clients including appeals, contract drafting and disputes, real estate issues, high-conflict domestic relations, and complex litigation.  Meagan is honored to represent clients all over the state of Arkansas.
